The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is considered to be one of the best camera smartphones in the market at the moment. Its successor, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, is expected to launch next year, and it seems like it will include a new 1-inch camera sensor.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will include Sony’s new 1-inch camera sensor
A well-known tipster, Digital Chat Station, just revealed some info about the phone. He claims that the device will include the Sony LYT900 1-inch camera sensor. That’s not all, though. It seems like four cameras will sit on the back once again.
That 1-inch camera sensor is actually a 50-megapixel camera. Well, three additional 50-megapixel cameras will be included on the back. A 50-megapixel ultrawide camera will be backed by a 50-megapixel telephoto camera (3x optical zoom), and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (5x optical zoom).
It’s also worth noting that the 3x telephoto camera will have a telephoto macro function for macro photography, just like the one that was included on the Xiaomi 13 Pro.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will fuel the device
The tipster went into more detail when it comes to the phone’s specs. He said that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will fuel the phone, and that a QHD quad curved display will sit on the front. A display camera hole will be included on it, almost certainly a centered one.
The curvature of the display will be very minimal, though, it seems. The rear cameras will sit inside a circular camera island, just like they did on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The phone is expected to arrive in the first half of next year.
The Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro, on the other hand, will launch in November, quite probably. Those two phones will be amongst the first devices (if not the first) to utilize the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
