The Xbox Series S can be a great way to play your games if you prefer digital downloads, and right now you can actually pick it up for less money during Best Buy’s early Black Friday sale. With the new Xbox generation the Xbox Series X is the more powerful console that also comes with a disc drive. It also happens to cost hundreds more. The Xbox Series S however starts at a lower cost which makes it easier for people to get into. Normally it retails for $299.99 but you can currently pick it up for $249.99.
Now this deal is for the White 512GB model of the console and not the new Black model that comes with 1TB of storage. But you do get a 3-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate along with the console. So you get everything you need to start gaming right in the box. The console itself, a controller, and three months of the Game Pass service so you can download and play games at no cost. This will let you save a little money since you won’t have to buy games for at least a few months.
And should you want to skip the downloads you can even play Xbox games over the cloud. The Xbox Series S is a more compact console too. So it more easily fits into smaller space. Say you’ve got a smaller desk or there’s just not a lot of room left on or in your entertainment center. Now as mentioned the console comes with a controller in the box but if you need an extra controller to play with family or friends, the Xbox Core Wireless controller is currently on sale as well. Though only in certain colors.
