Many stores used to open on Thanksgiving, from around 5PM til Midnight. But since the Pandemic, many stores have opted to remain closed on Thanksgiving, allowing their employees to be with their families, instead of at work with a bunch of crazy people trying to get those doorbuster deals.

Black Friday deals start well before Black Friday

Now while Black Friday does officially start on November 24, 2023, that’s not when the deals will start. Typically, we will start to see deals starting on the Tuesday before, which would be November 21, 2023. And in the past, we’ve seen retailers hold big sales ahead of Black Friday, with a “Black Friday Price Guarantee”. Allowing you to start shopping earlier, without worrying about paying more for the products.
