The Ulefone Armor Pad 2 is now official, the company’s brand new rugged tablet. The first-gen model got announced at the beginning of the year, and the second-gen model is now here. Ulefone promised this would happen last month, and here we go.
The Ulefone Armor Pad 2 is the company’s brand new rugged tablet
This tablet is IP68/IP69K certified, which means it’s both water and dust-resistant. It is also MIL-STD-810H certified, which means it can be dropped from a particular height to concrete without a problem.
There is an 11-inch 2K display included on the tablet, which gets up to 500 nits of brightness. The Gorilla Glass 5 protects it. The MediaTek Helio G99 SoC fuels this tablet, while Ulefone included 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage here. Do note that virtual RAM expansion is possible, up to an additional 8GB, which means you can technically reach 16GB of RAM.
A 48-megapixel main camera sits on the back, while a 16-megapixel selfie camera is also a part of the package. You will find a gigantic 18,600mAh battery on the inside, while the tablet supports 33W charging. The charger is also included.
This tablet has a special LED light on the back
There is a useful LED light on the back, but this one is special. It can provide up to 750 lumens of brightness, and has 383 LEDs. Stereo speakers are also included, while there is a fingerprint scanner placed on the right side of the tablet. The Armor Pad 2 can also scan your face if you set that up, thanks to its front-facing camera.
Android 13 comes pre-installed here, while 4G is also supported, if you pop in a SIM card. The Ulefone Armor Pad 2 also supports Wi-Fi 6. The tablet is available via the company’s official store on AliExpress, if you’re interested. The link is included below.
