Earlier this week, HTC launched the budget-friendly Wildfire E2 smartphone in Russia. It is the second Wildfire smartphone to launch this year. However, the company also has plans to launch even more budget smartphones.

Three new HTC smartphones are recently spotted on the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) website. The Wildfire E Lite, Wildfire E Ultra, and Wildfire E Star are certified alongside the previously launched Desire 20 pro and U20 5G.

Three new HTC Wildfire smartphones launching soon in Europe

Considering the Wildfire branding, these new smartphones will likely offer entry-level specifications and plastic build. Furthermore, these new smartphones will be coming with an affordable price tag. Apart from their names, there is no other information available about the new Wildfire smartphones.

With the EEC certification, the devices could be in the final stage of development and soon ready to make their debut. Nevertheless, the availability of Wildfire smartphones will be limited to selected countries across Asia and Europe. Along with these three new smartphones, the company will soon bring the HTC U20 5G to the European markets.

Initially, the HTC U20 5G and Desire 20 Pro are exclusively available only in Taiwan. The Desire 20 Pro now made its debut in Europe for €279 (approx. $330) and will be available from August 24. It comes with a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 Mobile Platform.

There is 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The quad-camera setup on the rear features a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, it comes with a 25MP camera on the front.

It also packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging technology. Speaking of the HTC U20 5G, it is the company’s first-ever 5G smartphone. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G Mobile Platform, which is also used in the LG Velvet and OnePlus Nord 5G.

On the front, it sports a 6.8-inch punch-hole display with Full HD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. The U20 5G shares the same rear camera setup as the Desire 20 Pro. On the front, the selfie camera now features an upgraded 32MP sensor. Speaking of the 5G connectivity, it only supports the sub-6GHz band.

In Europe, the HTC U20 5G competes with the likes of LG Velvet and OnePlus Nord 5G smartphones. An aggressive launch price will surely give an edge to HTC over the competition.
