Ring was featured at Amazon’s Fall Hardware Event today, and it announced its latest Stick Up Cam Pro. This camera looks a lot like some of Ring’s more recent camera updates in the past year or so. And it’s also bringing “Bird’s Eye View” to this camera. A feature that had already been available on the Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2, Floodlight Cam Pro and Spotlight Cam Pro.

Bird’s Eye View is the marketing name that Ring uses for its radar detection feature that is able to track a person’s path across the camera’s field of view. This will make the Stick Up Cam Pro able to monitor where your visitors go, and the route that they took to get there.

As expected, the Ring Stick Up Cam Pro is weather-resistant and pretty small and sleek. This means that you can use it outside without any issues. Ring has also added HDR video here, and color night vision. Making it a lot easier to use at night. There’s also a pair of microphones included for clearer audio here. There’s also two-way talk and a siren, that can scare off would-be intruders.

When can I buy the new Ring Stick Up Cam Pro?

The new Ring Stick Up Cam Pro is available for pre-order today, starting at $180 for the battery and plug-in models. There is a solar version available that will cost you $210. Of course, that does also include a small solar panel, so the higher price makes sense. Ring says that they will be available on October 18. It’s a pretty decent price, for a “Pro” version of the Stick Up Cam.

With that release date, we would not expect to see it get discounted during Amazon’s Prime Big Deals Days which is happening October 10 and October 11. But we could also be wrong, on that front.
