OPPO has confirmed the global launch date of its Find N3 series. The OPPO Find N3 and Find N3 Flip will become official on October 19. The event will take place in Singapore, in case you were wondering. The event will kick off at 2:30 PM GMT+8 / 9:30 AM CET / 8:30 AM BST / 3:30 AM EST / 0:30 AM PST.

The OPPO Find N3 series gets a global launch date

Now, the OPPO Find N3 Flip already launched in China, so that phone is not exactly a mystery at this point. The OPPO Find N3 did not, even though a lot of information about the device did pop up. Also, the Find N3 will see its initial launch in China on October 19 as well.

The OPPO Find N3 will be the same device as the OnePlus Open, essentially, at least as far as the hardware is concerned. What’s interesting is that OPPO is doing the global launch for the Find N3.

We thought that the OnePlus Open will be the global variant of the Find N3, and that the Find N3 will remain exclusive to China. Well, that may not be the case, considering that OPPO is doing a global launch for the device.

On the flip side, OPPO could be doing this just to show off the device to global consumers. We’ll see, but it would surely be nice to see its global variant too, with a global build of ColorOS. The OPPO Find N and Find N2 remained exclusive to China.

The OPPO Find N3 will be considerably larger than its predecessors

The new OPPO Find N3 will be larger than those two phones, by the way. It is said to include a 7.8-inch main display, and a 6.3-inch cover panel. Both of those displays will be OLED panels with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will fuel the device, while OPPO could offer up to 24GB of RAM on the phone. If the device does end up being available globally, the global variant will likely be limited to 16GB of RAM.

A 48-megapixel main camera is tipped, and the same goes for a 48-megapixel ultrawide unit. A 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera was also mentioned in rumors.

The phone will include a 4,805mAh battery, based on rumors, and also 100W wired charging. It remains to be seen if it will offer wireless charging, though, but the chances are slim.
