OnePlus Pad Review

OnePlus could be working on the OnePlus Pad Go

Right now, we don’t know too much about this tablet, so you’ll want to take this news with a grain of salt. This news was spotted by Twitter user and tipster @1NormalUsername (via Android Authority). The user spotted a new device with the model number OPD2304. It was mentioned in a OnePlus Forum post, and the device was referred to as the OnePlus Pad Go. This post has since been deleted.

That’s hard to support, but an official certification isn’t. The tipster was able to spot this same model number on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The certification didn’t say much about the device. However, since the tablet passed that certification, it means that an official launch shouldn’t be too far off. An Indian launch is expected, but we’re not sure about the rest of the world.

What we expect

At this point, we don’t know anything about the tablet, so all we can do is speculate about its specs. For the display, it could be smaller at about 10 inches with a 1080p+ resolution. While this is an affordable tablet, OnePlus might still use a high-quality display with the OnePlus Pad Go.

As for the internals, if the company sticks with MediaTek, we expect something like the Dimensity 1080 or the Dimensity 700 on the lower end. As for Snapdragon, we could be looking at the Snapdragon 695G SoC. We expect it to be backed up by 6GB-8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage.

We don’t expect the battery to be much smaller if the company even decides to reduce the size. The original OnePlus Pad comes with 68W charging, but we think that OnePlus could knock it down to 33W.

This is all speculation, and more information will come out as the device nears its official launch.
