Google announced the Pixel 7 Pro back in October, so it’s one of the newest smartphones on the market. We also awarded it the Best Camera Smartphone of 2022. So it’s a pretty good one to pick up.
About the Google Pixel 7 Pro
Google’s Pixel 7 Pro is a pretty impressive smartphone. It sports a 6.7-inch QHD+ 120Hz display, powered by Google’s own Tensor G2 processor, 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also has a pretty massive 5000mAh capacity battery inside, which does keep it running all day long. Of course, having the Adaptive Battery features included also help it last a bit longer.
The Pixel 7 Pro is of course, known for its camera. And it doesn’t disappoint here. It features a 50-megapixel main sensor, along with a 48-megapixel telephoto sensor and a 12-megapixel ultrawide. Both the ultrawide and telephoto pull double duty here. The ultrawide is also used for taking macro shots, since it does have autofocus this year. While the telephoto lens pulls double duty when it comes to zoom. It can do up to 10x zoom optically, and 30x digitally. So you can really zoom in on objects, and still get some great photos.
It comes out of the box with Android 13 installed, and it will also get three years of updates, guaranteed. That means that you will get Android 14, Android 15, and Android 16 on this device before it hits end of life. So it’ll last you quite some time, that’s always great to see.
