Now that the OnePlus Open has finally been released, when is the release date? Well, we have good news on that front. And you won’t have to wait very long either.
The OnePlus Open is going to be up for pre-order starting today (October 19, 2023), and the pre-orders will ship next week. Arriving on October 26, 2023. That’s a nice and quick turnaround for OnePlus, something that the company has worked to improve over the past few years too.
The MSRP of the OnePlus Open is $1,699. Which matches the price of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Google Pixel Fold. Over in Canada it’ll be $2,299.
You can get up to $1,000 off with trade-in
OnePlus wants to get the Open into as many hands as possible, so it’s making it easy to make the Open even cheaper for you. You can trade-in any phone and get $200 off. This includes a 20-year-old flip phone. Which is a really great deal. But if you do have something newer, like a OnePlus 10T, you can trade it in and get up to $1,000 off.
While the up to $1,000 off for your trade-in is a limited time offer, the $200 trade in credit for any phone in any condition, will continue throughout the phone’s life cycle. So as long as OnePlus is selling the Open, you can get your $200 off. That effectively makes it a $1,499 foldable.
OnePlus is also offering buyers three months of YouTube Premium and six months of Google One 100GB membership. You can also get the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 for free, in a limited colorway. This is limited to just the first 5,000 buyers though. And it comes in a new white colorway, which looks quite awesome.
You can pre-order your OnePlus Open at the links down below. The pre-orders will be available from OnePlus, Best Buy and Amazon. Unfortunately, carriers won’t be selling the Open, but it is fully compatible with all three networks – AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon.
