Blackview has launched its Tab 18 tablet globally. This is the company’s 12-inch tablet, and it’s now available via AliExpress. More on the availability a bit later on, let’s first check out what this tablet has to offer.
The Blackview Tab 18 is now official globally
The Blackview Tab 18 comes with a larger screen than its predecessor. It has also been upgraded in various other ways. The device features a 12-inch 2.4K display, and comes with Widevine L1 certification for streaming.
The MediaTek Helio G99 processor fuels this device, while the company also included 12GB of RAM. You can expand that up to 24GB via virtual RAM, though, in case you were wondering. This tablet has 256GB of storage, though you can expand that up to 1TB via a microSD card. It also boasts an internal cooling system with over 12,000mm2 of thermal conductivity materials.
Android 13 comes pre-installed on the device, with DokeOS 4.0. PC mode is included in the software, and it has been bumped up to version 2.0 You’ll also find four Harman Kardon stereo speakers here, with Harman AudioEFX 2.0 sound effects.
It has an 8,800mAh battery, and supports 33W charging
Blackview also included an 8,800mAh battery here, and claims that you’ll get great battery life. The tablet supports 33W wired charging, and Blackview says you can charge it to 50% in 1 hour. The charger is included in the box.
A 16-megapixel main camera sits on the back, while an 8-megapixel shooter is included on the front. Blackview also utilized the ArcSoft 7.0 Algorithm which is supposed to improve photography and video calls here. 2K video recording is enabled, by the way, while the front-facing camera can also be used for face scanning.
Dual 4G support is included, while the company also has some neat accessories for the device
The Blackview Tab 18 has dual 4G support, and features a side-facing fingerprint scanner. Yes, its power/lock button doubles as a fingerprint scanner. A magnetic stylus and a 2-in-1 Bluetooth keyboard case are an option too, but they’re not included with the tablet.
