This month’s ‘best smartphones in India’ list looks kind of similar to last month’s, with one significant change, the HTC U11 Plus is now listed here. HTC had introduced the HTC U11 Plus in India quite recently, and that is, as most of you already know, HTC’s most powerful smartphone. Having said that, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 still leads the pack, while it is followed by Google’s Pixel phones, and OnePlus’ flagship offering. The Moto Z2 Play is not a flagship phone, or anything of the sort, this is only Motorola’s mid-ranger, but a compelling mid-range device. The Moto Z2 Play is made out of metal, while it sports a nice-looking 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display. This handset is fueled by the Snapdragon 626 64-bit octa-core processor, and the phone sports 3GB / 4GB of RAM. Sony is expected to introduce its new flagship smartphone at this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, but until that happens, the Xperia XZ1 is still the company’s most powerful smartphone. This handset features a side-facing fingerprint scanner, while it is fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor. This phone’s 5.2-inch fullHD display is HDR10-compliant, and the phone ships with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, while Sony’s UI is included on top of it. 8. HTC U11 Plus

The HTC U11 Plus, as already mentioned above, is the company’s flagship handset. This smartphone was announced back in November, and it is made out of metal and glass. The HTC U11 Plus sports rather thin bezels, while it is fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor. The device comes with a 6-inch QHD+ display, while the phone features IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. This handset also offers 6GB of RAM in India, as a 4GB RAM variant is also available in some regions. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is still Xiaomi’s most powerful smartphone, even though the Xiaomi Mi 7 and Mi MIX 2S seem to be right around the corner. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 comes in several variants, so you can choose between 6GB and 8GB RAM models, while both metal + glass and ceramic unibody variants are also available. The Honor View 10 is Honor’s most powerful handset to date, and it has become available in India a while back. This phone was announced at the end of last year, and it is made out of metal. The Honor View 10 brings a front-facing fingerprint scanner, thin bezels, a dual camera setup. This handset is fueled by the Kirin 970 64-bit octa-core processor, which is Huawei’s most powerful processor to date. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus handsets are still amongst the most powerful phones out there, these two handsets are made out of metal and glass, and they both sport a single camera on the back. Indian variants of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are fueled by the Exynos 8890 64-bit octa-core SoC, while you will find 4GB of RAM on the inside of both of these smartphones. The Galaxy S8 comes with a 5.8-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display, while the same applies for the Galaxy S8 Plus as well, though we’re looking at a larger panel, a 6.2-inch display. 4. LG V30 Plus

The LG V30 Plus is the only ‘V30’ variant that arrived to India. This handset is actually identical to the regular V30 model in every way, except storage, as it comes with 128GB of internal storage, compared to 64GB on the regular model. This handset is made out of metal and glass, while it sports a 6-inch QHD+ (2880 x 1440) P-OLED display. The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor, while there are two cameras included on the back of the phone (16 and 13-megapixel snappers). The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core SoC, while it comes in both 6GB and 8GB RAM variants. The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are Google’s flagship handsets. These two handsets are both made out of metal, while they do have some glass accents on them. Both phones are fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core SoC, while the two phones ship with 4GB of RAM on the inside.
