– Price: Free to download
– In-app purchases: $0.99-$399.99
– Size: Varies with device
– Google Play rating: 4.0 out of 5 stars

X is not exactly a news reading app. This is a social media app, but it can definitely serve as a news reading app as well. All you need to do is be subscribed to the right sources. You should also choose the ‘Latest Tweets’ for your feed preference. There you go, news articles will come in a chronological order, along with all the other stuff that you’re subscribed to, including tweets from other people.

This way, you can have everything in one place, without the need to have a separate news reading app. Some people like to keep things separate, though, and also have some extra features that dedicated news reading apps offer. That’s completely understandable. If you’re not one of those people, though, and you like to combine things, X is a great way of getting the news. You can also comment on the spot, along with plenty of other people.
