Now that the Google Pixel 4 has been announced and is up for pre-order, it’s time to find the best cases available for it. That’s because you’re going to need to protect the device, and while it is not slippery really, it is still made of glass. So if you do drop it, you’re likely to shatter either the front or the back.

We’ve rounded up the best Pixel 4 cases that are currently available. This list will be changing as more case makers release their own cases for the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL.

Spigen Rugged Armor

Spigen Rugged Armor For Google Pixel 4

The Spigen Rugged Armor is a tried and true case. It is available for virtually every smartphone released in the past five years. It hasn’t really changed much either, and that’s not a bad thing.

This case is a pretty thin TPU case from Spigen, but it also provides plenty of protection. There is a slight lip for the display, to keep it protected if it does fall. It also covers all the sides and the back of the device. There are no cutouts for the power or volume buttons, but they are still pretty usable in the Rugged Armor case.

It’s a pretty plain looking case. With a soft-touch plastic backside and some carbon fiber towards the bottom. This isn’t going to win any awards for the best looking case for Google Pixel 4, but it does its job. And that’s the important part here.

You can pick up the Spigen Rugged Armor from Amazon by using the link below. It’ll cost you $9.99.

Incipio DualPro

The Inicipio DualPro is another case that’s pretty good for the Pixel 4.

It’s a dual-layer case that will provide a ton of protection for your Pixel 4. It has a soft inner layer that protects the phone. And then a hard-shell on the outside that will protect your phone if it does fall out of your hands. The DualPro is a pretty thick case actually, but it does its job, of protecting your phone quite well.

Caseology Skyfall

Caseology Skyfall Case For Google Pixel 4

Caseology’s Skyfall is another fan-favorite case, and it’s one of the best available for the Google Pixel 4.

It’s essentially a bumper case with a clear backside. This is going to allow you to still showoff the color of the Pixel 4 that you picked up, while still being able to protect it.

This one isn’t super thick either, so it’s going to be great for protecting your Pixel 4, without adding a bunch of bulk to it. There’s a slight lip to this one too, so it will protect the display. There’s no button cutouts, but the buttons are tactile, so they are still easy to press. Of course, that’s a very important thing with a smartphone case.

The Caseology Skyfall case for the Google Pixel 4 is available now from Amazon for just $13.99.

Matone Crystal Clear Slim Case For Google Pixel 4

Clear cases have become pretty popular in recent years, and it’s not hard to see why. These allow you to still show off the design of your smartphone, while protecting said smartphone.

Matone has a really good one available for the Pixel 4, and it’s super cheap too. We’re looking at about $8 for this one. But it’s a crystal clear case, that is going to show off that color of the Pixel 4 or Pixel 4 XL. It also covers the sides and has a lip for the front of the phone. Allowing you to keep that beautiful OLED display intact.

There is a slightly thicker bumper on the corners of this case. This is to protect it from breaking when it is dropped. Since phones almost always land on their corners when they are dropped, this is a good thing. Giving you some extra protection.

You can pick up the Matone Crystal Clear Slim Case from Amazon for $7.99, by clicking the link below.

TopACE TPU Cover

TopACE TPU Cover for Google Pixel 4

This one from TopACE is similar to the Matone one above, but the only difference is the fact that it is much thinner. So if you’re looking for a case that isn’t going to be super bulky and add more weight to your Pixel 4, then this is the best one to get.

It’s a pretty thin case, so don’t expect it to offer a ton of protection. There isn’t much of a lip on this one, so if you drop it, you may not be able to keep your Pixel 4 from shattering. There aren’t any cutouts for the buttons either, but they are still very easy to press.

TopACE says that this case is as light as a feather, so if you were worried about getting a case that might be pretty heavy, then you won’t need to with this one. It is also still compatible with wireless charging. As are most cases on this list.

This case from TopACE is a really good option for those that still want to show off the design of the Pixel 4, still want to protect it, but don’t want to make it super bulky. You can pick up the TopACE TPU Cover from Amazon by clicking the link below, it’s currently just $6.99.

Spigen Tough Armor

Spigen Tough Armor Case for Google Pixel 4

The Spigen Tough Armor is similar to the Rugged Armor case that is already on this list. Except it’s thicker and a bit more expensive.

If you’re a bit of a klutz or drop your phone somewhat often, then this is going to be the case to get. It’s thicker, with reinforced corners and edges, that will take more impact when the phone is dropped. It isn’t guaranteed to keep your phone from cracking or shattering, but it is more likely to do so. But it does have MIL-STD 810G-516.6 certification. Thanks to the Air Cushion Technology that is in the sides and corners of the case.

Of course, there is a pretty decently sized lip on the Pixel 4 with this case, so that it will protect that beautiful display. There are tactile buttons on the side for power and volume.

This is going to add a bit of weight and bulk to your Pixel 4. So keep that in mind before you opt to get this one. Additionally, it will still work with wireless charging. So if you were worried about that, don’t be. Most cases will still work with wireless charging, unless they are insanely thick – like an Otterbox.

Caseology Legion

Caseology Legion Case for Google Pixel 4

The Caseology Legion is another pretty thick case for the Pixel 4. It is a dual-layer case, that has a softer inside and a hard-shell on the outside. This is to protect the Pixel 4, while allowing the hard-shell to take all of the impact, when it does get dropped.

This one is available in black and it looks really good on the black Pixel 4. It looks like it was made specifically for that color of the Pixel 4. It’s a matte black look, with a little bit of carbon fiber at the top and bottom. Giving it a pretty classy look.

Like with most thicker cases, there is no cutouts for the buttons, but they are still tactile and easy to press. Caseology says that this one is also still going to be compatible with wireless chargers, so you’ll still be able to put this one down on your wireless charger at night and have it charge.

Spigen Liquid Air Armor

Spigen Liquid Air Armor Case for Google Pixel 4

We’ve got one last Spigen case to round out this list, and it’s the Liquid Air Armor.

This one is probably one of our favorites on this list. It has all of the features of the regular Spigen Rugged Armor case, but it’s lighter and has a nice pattern on the back. And that pattern serves a couple of purposes. For one, it allows you to have a cool design on your case. The other is the fact that it gives you a bit more grip for the phone. So you’re less likely to drop it. That’s always important.

It’s very lightweight, so it won’t add much bulk to the Pixel 4 at all, which is important. Since the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are already fairly large and heavy smartphones. It’s also still fairly thin, so it’ll work with wireless chargers without any issues.

Like the rest of the cases on this list, there is also no cut out for the buttons on the right-hand side. They are tactile, and they are still very easy to press though. So that won’t be an issue at all. Spigen has also still kept a lip on the Liquid Air Armor case, so that you are able to keep your phone protected while you are holding it, and perhaps dropping it.

It’s a really good looking case that is going to look good on the Pixel 4. Think of it is as a pretty cheap insurance policy for your phone that you just paid $800+ for.

You can pick up the Spigen Liquid Air Armor case for the Google Pixel 4 from Amazon by clicking the link below. It is still rather inexpensive, with a regular price of $10.99.
