The Backbone One has proven itself to be one of the best controllers for mobile gaming and now that controller is on sale for Black Friday and is down to $70. That’s a savings of $30 since the controller usually costs $99.99.
First things first, Backbone now makes this phone in versions compatible with Android and iOS. So no matter which platform you use the Backbone One works with. As for other awesome features, it has a 3.5mm audio jack for plugging in wired headphones. And that seems to be one thing that a lot of mobile gamers wanted out of a controller. The Backbone One comes in black and white varieties, with the white model being the ‘PlayStation’ version of the Backbone One. You’ll notice it has a similar style of glossy jeweled d-pad with the arrows on it and the familiar PlayStation action buttons square, triangle, circle, and cross.
It’ll also work with most Android phones, which, means basically no one is left out of being able to use this thing. There’s also a companion app to adjust features and re-map buttons. Not to mention you can use it to capture gameplay and easily share clips. Additionally, it’s really comfortable to hold, pretty compact, and has a charging port so you can keep the phone charged while playing.

There are more than a few reasons why this is an excellent mobile gaming controller. But we’ll just highlight some of the best features.
