The ASUS ROG Phone 7 has just appeared in real-life images, along with its case. The images have been shared by Abhishek Yadav, a tipster, and he shared them via Twitter.
The ASUS ROG Phone 7 and its case appear in real-life images
Now, if you take a look at the image below, you’ll see both the phone’s front and back sides. These are two images combined into one, it seems. Based on this, the design of the ROG Phone 7 won’t differ that much compared to its predecessor.
The camera island will be smaller, it seems, as will the illuminated RGB logo on the back. The phone will still include three cameras, and the design language of the back cover will remain the same.
The device won’t have a display camera hole or a notch at the front. ASUS once again opted to keep the top and bottom bezels a bit thicker in order to fit every in there, including the front-facing camera. This is a gaming phone, after all, so the screen real estate is quite important.
The phone’s dimensions have been revealed too
We even know the phone’s dimensions, it would seem, as the device has been pictured next to a ruler. You can check out that image below, and see the phone’s dimensions in mm/cm.
Having said that, the case of the device also appeared. If you check out the image below, you’ll see it in the flesh. That seems to be a thin plastic case, which makes sense, as the phone will be rather huge.
On top of everything, the ROG Phone 7 surfaced on AnTuTu as well
Now, on top of all that, the device also appeared on AnTuTu. The ROG Phone 7 appeared with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. That listing also confirms that a 16GB RAM variant with 512GB of storage will be available, and that the phone will ship with Android 13 out of the box.
The ASUS ROG Phone 7 managed to score 1,346,106 on AnTuTu, which is an outstanding score. You can check out the image below in order to see its CPU, GPU, MEM, and UX scores as well.
The ASUS ROG Phone 7 will launch on April 13, as the company confirmed. It will launch alongside another ROG phone, probably the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, based on rumors, even though we were expecting the ROG Phone 7 Pro.
