In a recent X post referencing Digital Chat station, netizens learn that OPPO and OnePlus are working to adopt advanced cooling technology. This will be put to use on future devices that the two smartphone brands will launch. Already, both brands have some cooling technology on their device, but they are now working to improve upon what is already available.
The post makes it clear that both OPPO and OnePlus are in R&D for this coming technology for their devices. Details on the technology itself are not available, as there is no leak on how it’ll work or the devices that’ll use it. However, it is safe to say that the coming OPPO Find entry and the coming OnePlus flagship device will put this technology to use.

What improvements might come with the advanced cooling on future OPPO and OnePlus devices
On the Find X5, OPPO launched its PC-grade cooling system that kept the device from overheating. Along with this cooling system was a vapor chamber and it is 75% larger than its predecessors. This means that the cooling system and vapor chamber on the OPPO Find X5 Pro are miles better than its predecessors.
To function, this system waits for the device to emit heat that moves the liquid within this system around the device. The movement of this liquid around the device helps keep the temperature down. Thanks to the larger size of the vapor chamber that holds this liquid, it can reach the battery and the SoC.
Joining this liquid in the vapor chamber is a copper sheet that sits between layers of graphite. This layer of materials helps keep the temperature of the device down while in use. Additionally, the Glacier Mat on this device also plays a role in keeping the device as cool as possible.
This cooling system was in use on the Find X5 and X6 series, but it’s time for a change to something more advanced. At MWC earlier this year, OnePlus showed off a cooling system on a concept device. The cooling panel on this concept device can glow while in use.
There is no proof to make claims that this cooling system is what OPPO and OnePlus are working on together. At the moment, netizens are in the dark as to what is coming to future OPPO and OnePlus devices. However, fans can be sure that this advanced cooling technology will improve upon what OPPO and OnePlus have to offer at this point.
